If you are sick and you are unable to attend your lessons, you must inform the College before 9.00 am on each day of your absence.

You can do this by sending a text to 07860 022 842.

Your text should say SICK followed by a space and your College ID number, for example: SICK ABC12345678

If you are self-isolating type SELF followed by a space and your College ID number, for example: SELF ABC12345678

You will then receive an acknowledgement that the College has been informed of your absence shortly afterwards.

The college has subscribed to theComputerSchool.net where you can find a range of digital resources. It covers basic IT skills, tips for using Microsoft, Google and Adobe products, also cyber safety and programming courses.

It is a good starting point for developing skills in IT and learning different applications/software. This is available to both staff and students.

Outstanding Fees

Please pay your outstanding fees as soon as possible at any Enrolment Centre.

Payment of your fees is essential to maintain your student status and access to college facilities, equipment and trips.

If your outstanding fees are over £100 you can pay via Direct Debit. Follow this link to the form.

Please print and sign the form. It can be handed into any Enrolment Centre. We can divide the outstanding amount you owe into 6 equal instalments from January to June.

Help may also be available via Student Support if you meet the criteria. We offer advice and guidance should you be experiencing any financial difficulty. Just pop into the Student Services office.   • Attend open events, meeting with prospective students and their parents.

  • Take part in various focus groups with different departments in the college.

  • Assist with college visitors as and when required.

  • Assist the Student Union with Charity events.

As a Student Ambassador, you will have the chance to be rewarded after taking part in 3 of the above activities. The more you take part, the more you will be rewarded.

Maths and English Labs Booking

We are happy to say the Maths Lab and English Lab are once again open. Everyone is welcome, however under current restrictions we are limited to 10 students in the Maths Lab and 6 students in the English Lab at any one time.

If you studying GCSE Maths or English at the college, and need some extra help why not visit us?

We can offer weekly sessions to help you get the most out of your studies and go over work with you that you may be finding difficult.

Maths Lab

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays:
First appointment is 8.30am and then every hour until 4pm (last slot 3pm)

English Lab

All days (Wednesday is online):
First appointment is 9.00 am, and run until 4.00pm

How do I join the Labs?

There are no perfect candidates for the labs – only perfect study solutions!

You can join the labs in two ways:

  • Mention the labs to your teachers and they can refer you to us. We will contact you to talk to you about what you need and book you in for your weekly sessions!

  • You can drop into the labs at Booth Lane. (English Lab: D1.25 / Maths Labs D2.21). Our coaches will talk to you about the service, assess what you need and schedule you in for your weekly sessions.

If you are confused by your homophones or struggling with your decimals then please book in. We are always happy to help.

Students and Staff are allowed to sign up to the TOTUM Discount Card (formerly NUS extra card) that provides lots of discounts at Shops and Restaurants both on the high street and online.

- You will need a digital photo that you can upload. And you pay for the card online.

- Once ordered the card will be sent to student services where you can collect it(it normally takes up to 2 weeks for the card to arrive).

- Students and Staff will need their College ID card with them when they come to collect the card from Student Services to prove they are at the college.

Enrichment + Digital Tutorial Programme

With Enrichment+ there are 21 digital tutorial modules for Students to cover.

These modules will improve students’ knowledge on a wide range of subjects that will help improve both their physical & mental health and also improve their knowledge in a variety of life skills.
